This movie was directed by Robert Zemeckis in 1994. The Forrest Gump is an American epic romantic comedy drama film which is based on the 1986 novel of the same name " The Forrest Gump" by Winston Groom.

In the film, Tom Hanks, the protagonist who acts professionally because he manages to bring out the character. Hence, he was being awarded the Best Actor in the "Oscar Award". This film depicts the passage of time in the life of Forrest Gump. Forrest Gump has a low IQ and he is treated as an abnormal person. Due to this, he is not allowed to study together with other kids. Furthermore, he is a hunchback with an backward curve to the vertebral column. Thus, he needs to use a walking stick to support him in walking.

Even though the Forrest Gump is about an abnormal kid and the script is tried to evoke sympathy of its audience, but the technique of the scenes being took is really amazed the audiences. The audiences love the portraying of The Forrest Gump which was directed by Robert Zemeckis. The usage of camera and techniques that involving "pan", "tilt" and moreover "wide angle", "close-up" were been used in a very suitable method. Besides, the "close-up" camera technique is used to capture the emotion and feelings of the character, so that the audience is drawn into this film.

Forrest Gump's mother fights hard to ensure that Forrest Gump gets an equal opportunity to learn like other kid. For example, she has an sex affair with the school principal. Jenny whom Forrest Gump met in the school bus on their way to school is the first person who is willing to offer a seat to Forrest Gump and this leaves a good impression to Gump meanwhile he was been rejected by others. Since then, Gump loves Jenny very much even though Jenny has commits a sexual affair with someone. The audience is help informed that Gump's love towards Jenny is so strong, simple love, but touching. Ridiculously, Gump even after few years only wait till Jenny willing to start life with him.

Jenny always ask Gump to run no matter what happens, especially when he is bullied by gangster, when he goes to Vietnam. Jenny try to ask Gump to promise her that, "no matter what happens to you, not to be brave, just RUN". In this situation, the audience begins to wonder about whether Jenny likes to get escape from any unfavorable circumstances that happens in her life or she is just trying to protect Gump in the way of asking him to RUN? She always think that by running escape from misfortune, she would be able to live her life like other normal people. For an instance, Jenny is being sexual harassed by her father and she just run. But, audience is question that, the RUNNING of Jenny is a way of solution in helping herself and so to the Gump too or just other meaning in that?

The shooting techniques used by Robert Zemeckis in this kind of ordinary plot story become an essence. Audience is really care about how Robert Zemeckis is going to shoot, with what angle in what scene and how to run through all the planning. How able is the director to use the camera techniques to initiate the pathos of audiences.

There are about the plot: In the beginning, Gump sits on a chair and waits for the bus. He start to think about his life and the most essential part of his life, such as Mother (Mrs. Gump), beloved (Jenny), his bestie (Bubba), Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, his Running life, hectic ping pong life, as soldier in Vietnam, Lt. Lieutenant Dan, and also Gump's feeling when mother leaved this world, Jenny get hurt when hitting by a man......He is tried to share all valuable life situation that he faced and recall back his experiences. As the time passes by, there is a next person who sits besides Gump to listen to him. This kind of narration make people curious that with a real time person (present), Gump is talking his (past) and waiting for his (future), to meet with beloved Jenny.

Why does Gump will sit on the chair? Where does Gump wanted to go? Why is it after experiencing this and that, he is still able to sit on the chair? What inspires him and support him along these? All these provide audiences a space to think and feel suspicious (suspens). When Gump shares his life experience, the audience next to him keeps changing. This makes audience experienced that life is depicted as someone who waits for the bus. The crucial point is not about reaching our desired destination, but it is about who is the person who remain sited and how we deal with them. Life, so called as taking bus. People comes into our life, and they may leave us, but some time some people is willing to stay for a longer time to accompany us while some could only stay for a short period. According to Gump's mother, life is just like eating chocolate: Sweet, bitter, all together.

As an audience, I enjoy the way of expressing about this story with using of several analogy that give impact to audiences to think deeply about the meaning of life. Techniques that conveyed is making the story line becomes more interesting. In a nutshell, I am upgrading my skill of shooting in order to be able to describe and tell people more about the interesting of film in an advanced techniques!
Life's good when getting with the beloved besides you.
Life is what...
